If you prefer take-out, you will be pleased to know that Nottingham has one of the highest number of restaurants per square mile than most cities in the UK. Whether you have a car or not, Nottingham will prove to be a great place for a student to be in. whether you want to get home or get out of the city for a while, you can skip the road and jump on a train at the Nottingham train station. The roads even though sometimes quite busy are a great option and with the wide number of accommodation options for students, you can always grab something that is within a walking distance to the University.

The Night life

The life of a student is not complete with an equally captivating nightlife. Nottingham is just the thing for you. Whether you’re looking to listen to music, watch a movie, catch some live acts or even drop by a students-only club, you will have all of that and more in Nottingham.

Rock City is best known for the live gigs they throw. There is a fair chance you will have a big name performing here every once in a while. They also cover all types of genres. All you need to do is keep an ear out and you should be able to hear something entertaining. Fancy some Karaoke? The Rescue Room is the place to be every Wednesday. There are also gigs that are held here every other night that you might like. For some vintage style cinema, Savoy Cinema is the place to be and it comes with a student-friendly price. You also have The Ocean which is a student exclusive club.
